The 2016 Integrity Toys Convention: Supermodels part I - Welcome Gift Set

Yes, it's this time of the year: the Integrity Toys convention is taking place in Chicago and I will be posting all news related to it and the avalanche of new dolls coming our way. Wednesday is the early arrival and registration day, so we get the chance to see the welcome gift set. It is back again, as in previous years there was only a doll and some time it was only part of an early registration event. Integrity Toys picked the new Industry series for it, and here's Tulabelle. Attendees will be getting more outfits and accessories for her during the convention to complete the gift set.

Tulabelle is a 12-inch fully articulated fashion doll with thick, luscious rooted hair and hand-applied eyelashes. A doll stand is included in the set. For adult collectors ages 15 and up.

Wonder which super model she is supposed to be. The fashion is very late 80s - early 90s in style, as are most of them from a few photos that have popped up online. What I noticed in some photos of this doll from people that got her, is that her head and body skin colour do not match, a problem that the first Industry doll had as well and was recalled/delayed because of it. She looks a lot like Hanne Erikson in miniature.

  1. Hello, do you know if she has decal eyes? and if this outfit fits Nu.Face and FR? Thnaks.

    1. There are no dolls with decal eyes in the convention. I have no idea about the fit, it's a new body so it may not or it may fit. I guess it will be OK with Nu Face.

  2. I love Tulabelle fashion, but this doll does nothing for me. Her face is so harsh whereas Poppy is fresh and cute as a button. Maybe I read it wrong but where is the Poppy link? This was meant to be the modern day Poppy, the It girl.Personally I preferred the first 16in Tulabelle face mold. Despite her wide set eyes and duck pout, the doll looked fun and youthful and very cute (like her grandma).then mold 2 came out and she had aged 20 years. The 12 inch is just a smaller version of mold 2. So disappointing.

  3. Ivy, Tulabelle is the granddaughter of Poppy, that's the link.
