Integrity Dolly Days 2016: the Nu Face 2016 Collection unveil: Reckless

The final day of the Dolly Days event had a major unveil: the new 2016 Nu Face Collection: Reckless. This was hinted during the 2016 convention in Chicago. I think it is the most complete Nu Face collection revealed so far, especially with the new bodies. All the dolls are available to pre-order now at IT authorised dealers (remember that the W Club had a day's advance notice so there might not be so many left now) except Eden, which will be an IT Direct for next year, via lottery. Dolls will arrive next year.

What a beautiful Erin. One of the best dolls in this collection. Indeed she looks like she owns everything. It is my third favourite, and would have gotten her if I had a bigger budget (I had to limit myself to two dolls).

She slays it allright! Nadja here looks like a blaxploitation 70s film star - or a guest star in The Get Down TV mini-series. Even better, she could be in Empire or Luke Cage. If I had to make a list, she's be my 4th favourite in this collection. That choker! Those boots!

This is my second favourite doll in the collection - what an amazing version of Ayumi. The colours. the hair, the outfit, all look amazing - even though her coat is a bit weird. Love the choker and purse. And also love that she looks completely different than her previous versions.

I already have an Eden with this colouring so I am not crazy about her and the outfit is not up to par with the previous ones, despite the charred laser cut effect. Love the back-pack: I am surprised it took them so long to release a doll with one, as it is all the rage for two seasons now. Remember this is an IT Direct doll and is not available to pre-order through dealers.

At firts I saw a dark haired Giselle and thought "now I can have my own substitute Glam Addict". But nope. She's too tame for that. In fact she reminds me more of Lilith than Giselle. Not a bad thing but... And again the charred laser cut looks weird. I get the style, but I don't like it.

The 2016 Integrity Toys Convention: Supermodels part IV: Nu Face and a certain Mademoiselle!

Anyone getting tired of giftsets with underwear as the bonus outfit? I know I am. I'd much rather have her with a second outfit. As for her faux leather dress, it looks like Thierry Mugler again. or Saint Laurent? As for la Jolie, she reminds me a bit of Nadja Auermann. The doll's name is a reference to the lyric from Madonna's "Justify My Love" (I want to kiss you in Paris) so it should be her. Cannot find a dress like this worn by Madonna though.

Must say that the side glance worries me a bit, I saw one photo on line where one eye looked upwards! Gorgeous dress and make up. Again I am stumped as to which model she could be. Heidi Klum maybe?

And the outfit is Chanel Haute Couture Autumn/Winter 2015, worn on the runway by Fei Fei Sun.

Integrity Toys convention 2015: Cinematic Part IX: The W Club luncheon

One of the most sought after events of the convention each year is the W Club members-only luncheon. Attendees that are not part of the W Club cannot attend and everyone is eager to find out details about the next year's collections that are unveiled on the luncheon. Each member who opted to attend received the opportunity to purchase a Veronique Perrin centerpiece doll from the Fashion Royalty Collection and each member then received a basic Eden doll as a thank you gift for attending the lunch. In addition to an interview with the W Club's own Carol Roth, David Buttry returned to the stage to sneak peek a brand new line- The Industry- featuring a 12" version of Tulabelle that will officially début next year. Yes. you read it correctly, Tulabelle is turning 12". Is this a sign for the other 16" doll lines of Integrity too? Vaughn and Alain also talked about how the dolls of IT are made.

Integrity Toys convention 2015: Cinematic Part I: Welcoming cocktail and early registration

October is the month that Integrity Toys organises their convention every year, each time drawing a larger crowd. This year was no exception. It was held in Long Beach, California and produce a large number of dolls, all inspired or influenced a bit by this year's theme, Cinematic - Hollywood films and stars. The following posts will provide details and official photos of the dolls that were available in the convention.

Let's start with Wednesday and the early-bird welcoming cocktail. This was a first in the convention - a doll was available for the early bird registered attendees at the 20th anniversary cocktail that was given to celebrate. The staff of Integrity Toys was on hand to chat with guests. The price of the welcome cocktail ticket included a complimentary drink and the choice between one of either of two ITBE dolls. Guess which doll everyone wanted (but did not get).

Everyone of course wanted the Eden/Lilith sculpt but there were only 215 of them so the rest had to make do with the other doll available. I have no information about the body these dolls have but I'm guessing it is the new Nu Face one.

This one has the Natalia 1.0 sculpt which looks amazing. I much prefer this one than doll A.

As guests picked up their registration goodies, they each received a little black box that featured a complimentary issue of Haute Doll magazine, a free gift from Azone (an FR Nippon miniature tote if I remember correctly), their badge holder and a Fashion Royalty outfit sized to fit the FR2013 body and created as a companion piece to the Agnes Von Weiss mini gift set offered in the convention collection. The doll that is wearing it in the photo is the convention collection Agnes - more about her in the next post.

Lilith and Eden are 12.5-inch fully articulated vinyl fashion dolls with new, duo-toned fully rooted hairstyles. Lilith comes dressed in sleek form fitted matte jersey pants and a purple satin top with black lace overlay, covered by an intricately constructed faux-leather jacket with corset seaming. She completes her look with a faux suede tote, faux leather high-heeled sandals and the introduction of a brand new set of jewellery debuting here in this set for the first time. Eden wears a pink organza cocktail dress with a contrasting black lace overlay and piping detail under a boiled wool look blazer. The W club member can pre-order the doll by placing a deposit until the 19th of October, one set per membership. I bet this will be a very popular set - and why not? The price is good, the dolls look great and the sculpt is one of the most popular.

I like the dolls and outfits and love the accessories. I am a bit sceptical about the hairstyle - it looks modern this season but will date a lot in six months time.
