Integrity Toys Dolly Days 2016: Jem new outfits come with older dolls

The Jem part of the Dolly Days 2016 Integrity Toys week has a twist: they are offering some new exclusive outfits which have never been produced before but they come in sets with previously released dolls - so in order to get an outfit, one has to buy the set that includes a previously released doll. Chances are the completist Jem collector will already have these dolls so it is a problem. On the other hand it makes perfect business sense for the company. The sets are available to buy now on IT Direct. Let's see them below.

The 2016 Integrity Toys Convention: Supermodels part III - The Convention Poppy Parker and IT Direct sales room exclusives

There were two sales room exclusive dolls presented along with the Integrity Toys convention collection: a Mademoiselle Jolie gift set (see the next post) and a Poppy Parker IT Direct exclusive. This last one is the second Poppy in the FR Black skin tone like Midas Touch. There was also another Poppy in the collection, as a supermodel from the 60s.

Even though she is lovely, she does not click with me. Compared to the other Poppy, this one looks plain and boring, despite the rare skin tone. She could play in Masters Of Sex though.

I think the lipstick should have been either pale or red. The strong pink with the yellow throws the whole thing off. Bag and shoes are amazing.

Integrity Toys Summer 2016 unveil: ITBE 16

The event opened with these two dolls, which I guess was not what everyone expected, as we already got four of these earlier in the year. These two are completing that collection. I have one from the earlier release and do not intend to get a second one. The dolls are nice but not enticing enough, even at this price. Higher is the better of the two by far. They are IT Direct, with w Club members getting early access to their sale. Public be able to buy any available dolls on the 18th of August approximately noon ET time, through the IT e-shop.

ITBE Fashionistas by Integrity Toys - 16" basic dolls!

Integrity Toys decided to release 16" ITBE dolls for the very first time. These, as is the norm for their ITBE releases in the last few years, use bodies and sculpts already in use in other lines, either older or current. Here we see the two old AvantGuard sculpts used (open and closed mouth) as well as the original Elsa Lin sculpt from the original FR 16" line-up. After a 24h period of them being available only to W Club members, now they are available on the IT-Direct website for purchase at approximately noon Eastern Time. They are all sporting the FR 16" body and wear a simple dress, a pair of stud earrings and plain shoes. The price for each doll: $99.00! I like them all but I will try and get Reflective. I have the sculpt in other versions but not in that skin tone.

New Jem And The Holograms doll - and it's Sean Harrison!

W Club members were introduced to a new addition to the JEM AND THE HOLOGRAMS™ line, ahead of the general public. Integrity Toys presented Sean Harrison, who, as the story goes, is a multi-talented British mega star and friend of Jem. Seen in some of the most memorable episodes of the hit 80's cartoon JEM AND THE HOLOGRAMS™, singer, song-writer and actor Sean Harrison was the "on and off again" boyfriend of Holograms band member Kimber Benton. Cute guy but I do not collect this line - wouldn't mind having the watch and the lapel brooch though for my dolls.

New Jem & The Holograms release: Anthony Julian

Integrity Toys just started their "Dolls of Summer"week event: starting yesterday, they are releasing new doll information, first to the W Club members and, after a day or two, to the general public. Monday was the day that saw a new doll for the Jem and The Holograms line: Anthony Julian, the director of Jem's video-clips. Henceforth, the Integrity Jem line will be "referred to as "The Legacy Collection", to separate it from the Jem movie merchandise coming later this year (does this mean Integrity is not releasing any such merchandise? We'll see). The new doll is an IT Direct exclusive, with a priority time to pre-order set for members of the W Club (at $125 and one doll per membership limit) and then the remaining dolls will be available to the general public for retail price, on.Sunday, June 28th at noon Eastern.

Anthony Julian is a fully articulated vinyl figure with sleek rooted curly and flocked hair. He comes dressed in one of his key looks from the hit 80's animated TV series. His layered outfit has the 80s vibe that characterises the series, with his turtleneck, v-neck knit sweater and plaid pants, topped by his signature royal blue driver coat. His accessories include a watch, a plastic bullhorn and movie clap board (cardboard). For adult collectors ages 15 and up. Figure cannot stand alone; stand included.

I think this is the first time I was really tempted to buy a Jem line doll. The new sculpt is very handsome, I love even his 80s outfit and he'd stand nicely with all my FR Homme guys. Unfortunately I'll pass due to budgetary restraints and hope to find him at a normal price some other time.
